Clay County Social Services
Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) Biennial Service Agreement
Clay County Social Services is in the process of developing the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) Biennial Service Agreement for 2018 - 2019. The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) requires counties to notify the public and seek input on the use of these funds. Clay County has chosen to inform the public of the development of this Service Agreement via the county website.
The primary purpose of the service agreement is to provide the state with county information about services and strategies intended to meet program measures with the goal of increasing economic stability for low income families under MFIP. The agreement provides an assessment of the following:
ongoing needs of families and children within program areas
resources available to address these needs
budgeting of allocated resources
community participation and review in the planning and development of the service agreement
The public review and comment period will end on November 30, 2017.
