The Recorder's Office's priority is to record documents that are presented to our office. The role of the Recorder's Office is to archive the document that is presented for recording and to make it available for public viewing. We are not able to interpret documents that are recorded. We are not able to provide any lien searches or assist in searching real estate records.
The records can be viewed in the Clay County Recorder's Office Monday through Friday 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. at:
