Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in social work, psychology, sociology or closely related field with at least 3-6 months of prior work-related experience.
      Clay County’s Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with a major in social work or a closely related field with at least 1 to 3 years of prior work-related experience.

Duties and Essential Functions

    • The listed examples may not include all the duties performed by all positions in this class.

       

      • Provide Adult Protection Services including Intake, Screening and Investigation.
      • Determine the need for legal representation for clients determined vulnerable.
      • Provide short term case management to adult clients who may need additional services not available elsewhere to them.
      • Administer and monitor the assigned caseloads so that details are adhered to and systematically documented to provide accountability.
