Starting Salary 

Starting salary: $20.69 per hour.  

This position will be eligible for Clay County’s benefit package.

Qualifications

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school;
  • 6 months to 1 year of previous work-related experience;
  • Applicant must successfully complete a background investigation.
  • Experience with office machines, data entry, typing and mathematical computations is preferred.

Duties and Essential Functions

The listed examples may not include all the duties performed by all positions in this class. 

    • Processing driver’s license and identification card applications and renewals. 
    • Assisting the public in the registration, titling and licensing of motor vehicles.
    • Maintains inventory records which include stickers and plates.
    • Prepares daily deposits, balance all tills and accounts for all transactions.
    • Other duties as assigned.
