COVID-19 Business Relief Program
On December 16th, 2020 Governor Walz signed legislation establishing a $216 million dollar Small Business Relief Package for Minnesota businesses affected by COVID-19. As part of this package, the State will make direct payments to eligible businesses that were directly affected by Executive Order 20-99. The legislation also provided $114.8 million dollars that will be distribute to counties based on population to further assist local businesses. Clay County is in the process developing a program and application process in anticipation of creating a business relief fund.
