Secure Detention

The West Central Regional Juvenile Center provides co-ed detention services both pre-adjudicated and adjudicated youth ages 10-19 (up to 21st birthday for youth on EJJ). The facility maintains 32 secure detention beds.

Secure Residential

The facility provides secure residential treatment services to youth that have been ordered to the program by the Court. The program is structured on cognitive behavioral therapy and offers additional services included but not limited to the following: substance use disorder programming, trauma therapy/trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, sexual therapy, and transition services. 

Non-Secure Detention

Non-Secure Detention offers law enforcement, probation officers, court services, and social services emergency placement options for youth in need of crisis/emergency out of home placement.  Specific non-secure detention programs include 1) Emergency Placement 2) 30 Day Behavioral Evaluation Program 3) Pathways Sex Offense Specific programming, and 4) Behavioral Stabilization.

Independent Living Skills Program - Coming Soon

The facility is currently undergoing an expansion and will be adding an independent living skills program. The program will assist youth in the development of independent living skills and will serves as a means of re-integrating youth slowly back into the community. The anticipated start date for this program is spring 2020.
