Operation Rules
Visitation
Parents have the right to an initial visit anytime. After that, visiting hours will apply.
Visiting hours are from 2:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Immediate family members, including grandparents may visit, while extended family may only visit by administrative approval.
Visits are limited to one hour. Please call ahead to ensure a visiting room is available.
Telephone
Parents or residents may make one call per day.
Calls to parents are made collect.
Calls from counselors, teachers, etc. are approved by supervisory staff.
Calls from probation officers, attorneys, etc. are allowed anytime.
Calls to attorneys may be direct at no cost to the resident.
Mail
Residents may write/send out one letter per day with stamps provided by the WCRJC.
More letters may be written at the resident's own expense.
Money
Small amounts of money may be brought to the resident to purchase commissary items.
Clothes
An inventory of clothes is taken upon a resident's arrival at the WCRJC.
Generally 2 sets of clothes are all that are needed for their stay with us.
It is suggested that tennis shoes be worn.
Clothes are laundered by each resident whenever necessary.
Personal Hygiene
The WCRJC provides for all basic personal hygiene needs.
Food
No food or beverages are allowed to be brought in for any resident.
